Galleria BPER is exceptionally reopening its Genoa venue to the public with four days of special opening, featuring the temporary exhibition "Genova ideale. Antonio Giolfi e l'invenzione dell'immagine moderna della città. Vedute della Superba tra realtà e rappresentazione" ("Ideal Genoa. Antonio Giolfi and the Invention of the City's Modern Image. Views of the Superba between Reality and Representation"), set up on the 14th floor of Palazzo BPER in Via Cassa di Risparmio. The exhibition itinerary tells how the city has been observed, imagined and portrayed by artists, bringing reality and representation into dialogue in a journey through images that helped consolidate the myth of the Superba. Alongside the temporary exhibition, visitors can also rediscover "Nelle stanze dell'Arte. Itinerario tra i capolavori di una quadreria genovese" ("In the Rooms of Art. An Itinerary through the Masterpieces of a Genoese Picture Gallery"), the permanent exhibition housed in the BPER venue in Via Cassa di Risparmio. An itinerary that showcases works from the bank's collection and offers a glimpse into the Genoese artistic heritage preserved by the Group.
