La Savona di Sandro Pertini
The Sandro Pertini and Renata Cuneo Museum is located in the Priamar Fortress, on the second floor of the Palazzo della Loggia, and houses two collections donated to the city of Savona. The first is that of Sandro Pertini, President of the Republic originally from Stella (Savona), who collected works by artists of his time — including De Pisis, Guttuso, Manzù, Mirò, Morandi, Pomodoro, Sassu, Sironi and Vedova — partly linked to the theme of the partisan Resistance. The second is that of the Savona sculptor Renata Cuneo, who donated numerous works of hers (ceramics, bronzes, terracottas, drawings) to the Municipality, and to whom several city monuments are also owed, such as the fisherman beneath the Leon Pancaldo Tower and the man wrestling with the fish in Piazza Marconi.

Sandro Pertini's Savona
The audioguide is dedicated to the seventh president of the Italian Republic, Sandro Pertini (Stella 1896 – Rome 1990), and to his ties with Savona. The proposed itinerary starts from Pertini's art collection, donated to the city immediately after his death, and today preserved at the Sandro Pertini and Renata Cuneo Museum on the Priamàr, and extends to some streets and squares of Savona that recount, through emblematic episodes, how the birth and growth of Pertini's ideals and his political involvement had Savona as their setting. All the stops are located in the city centre, except for the last two, which can nevertheless still be reached on foot but with a bit more effort.
Thanks to a selection of historical photographs, this audioguide also allows visitors to see Savona in the 1920s and to better understand its history and its changes.
