The Ricci Oddi Modern Art Gallery owes its name to its founder, the Piacenza nobleman Giuseppe Ricci Oddi (1868-1937), who donated his art collection to the city. Inaugurated in 1931, the Gallery houses over seven hundred works by artists - primarily Italian - from the nineteenth to the early twentieth century. The nineteen exhibition rooms are divided by region, artistic movement, and in some cases dedicated to a single artist. The collection includes only works dating from 1830 to 1930.

Full price ticket: €9.00
Reduced price ticket: €5.00 for visitors under 18, visitors over 65, university students with a valid student ID, groups (minimum 8 - maximum 20 people), and various special offers.
Free ticket: Visitors under 6, disabled visitors and any accompanying persons, journalists with a valid Order of Journalists card.
Members of Banca di Piacenza, ICOM members.
Monthly free admission: The Gallery is open to visitors free of charge on Tuesday, July 29th. and Tuesday, August 26. This offer is for individual tickets only and does not include groups or school groups.
