This itinerary takes you to discover the Bostel di Rotzo: a hilltop village that tells stories of daily life, exchanges, agriculture and craftsmanship during the Iron Age.
The Sette Comuni Archaeological Museum (MASC) is a cultural center located in Castelletto di Rotzo, dedicated to promoting the archaeological heritage of the Sette Comuni Plateau. Managed by the NEA Archeologia Cooperative, the museum offers an immersive experience that combines traditional exhibits with innovative technologies. Within the museum, visitors can explore a series of thematic itineraries covering the history of the Plateau from prehistory to the Iron Age. Among the proposed itineraries, the following stand out:
• Prehistoric Itinerary: from Neanderthal settlements to the Mesolithic sites of Marcesina and Cima XII.
• Bronze and Iron Ages: in-depth explorations of sites such as Monte Corgnon and Longalaita.
• Bostel Village: a journey into the daily life of a Rhaetian border settlement, focusing on craftsmanship, daily life, and rituals.
