Inside the parish church of San Giacomo in Gosaldo are preserved the works of Franco Fiabane: among them the Castellavazzo stone lectern, made in 1974. A human figure, carved with strength and devotion, supports the surface intended for the Sacred Word, uniting earth and heaven in a solemn gesture. With echoes of Michelangelo’s lesson and of twentieth-century sculpture, Fiabane transforms raw material into a symbol of tangible, deeply human spirituality.
