Expanded over the years thanks to donations from collectors, the Spoleto Museum of Textiles and Costume houses artifacts from the 14th to the 20th century.
The collection, organized thematically, unfolds across five rooms, beginning with the one dedicated to sacred vestments. This is followed by the costume room, the accessories room, the room of patterned fabrics, and the room dedicated to local textiles, among which the ancient "Perugian tablecloths" stand out, which were reproduced in paintings by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Ghirlandaio, Giotto, and many others.
