Themed Itinerary "From the Bath to the Stage: Places of Leisure"
In this itinerary, we'll discover how, in the Roman world, leisure time wasn't simply a break between daily activities, but a recognized part of social life. Taking care of one's body, meeting people, attending a performance, or entertaining guests were activities that helped shape people's identities and their roles in the community.
The Museum of Ancient Thermalism and the Territory in Montegrotto Terme combines two souls: thermalism, as a thousand-year-old tradition of the Euganean area, and the territory, because the museum brings to light other distinctive aspects of this territory. The Museum of Thermalism in Montegrotto Terme offers a tour through the 3000 years of history of the Terme di Abano and Montegrotto and allows you to embark on a real interactive, dynamic and multisensory journey through thermalism and its secrets.
