The church of Saints John and Paul is located in the historic center of Spoleto, annexed to Palazzo Travaglini (later Zacchei Travaglini), in the ancient vaita Filittèria, which in the late medieval period was the Byzantine quarter of the city. It is a modest Romanesque building that after its consecration in 1174, served as a parish church.
Inside, it preserves frescoes dating from the last quarter of the 12th century to the 16th century, important testimonies of Spoleto's pictorial culture. Some of them have been attributed to Alberto Sotio.
