Welcome to the Castle of the Lubomirski Princes in Lubniewice – one of the most valuable residences in the Lubusz Voivodeship. Built between 1909 and 1911 at the initiative of the von Waldow family, today it is not only a historic monument and heritage site, but above all the family home of the Princes Lubomirski – a lineage whose history dates back to the 10th century. During your visit, you will discover the fates of the family's distinguished members: military commanders, statesmen, patrons of the arts, and social activists, from Hetman Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski to Prince Regent Zdzisław Lubomirski, who proclaimed Poland's independence in 1918. The interiors house family portraits, mementos, works of art, and objects brought from all over Europe, with each room telling a separate chapter of the centuries-long history of the family and the country. We invite you to journey together through the castle's chambers and discover the Lubomirski heritage – still alive today thanks to the activities of the Lubomirski Princes Foundation.
