Museo Correr – Painting Gallery, 2nd Floor
The Painting Gallery of the Museo Correr houses numerous masterpieces of Venetian painting, as well as works from the Ferrarese, Northern European, and Cretan schools, from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Set up in 1960 by the famous architect Carlo Scarpa, with a clear rationalist imprint, it remains today a masterful example of modern museography.
