Level VII Gallery Itinerary
This itinerary is dedicated to the Level VII Gallery as the first underground route of the Mining Museum Park of Abbadia San Salvatore. The gallery, built according to mining techniques, is lined with wood. Outside the building, the iron headframe reproduces the Mafalda Shaft, the first one built in the mine.

The Director's Itinerary
Welcome to "The Director's Journey". In this one-hour tale, we will take you on a journey through time, discovering the most important figures in the early history of the Abbadia San Salvatore mine. These characters, with their intertwined lives and diverse personalities and approaches, contributed decisively to the birth and development of one of the most important mercury mines in the world. We'll start from the beginning, from that June 20, 1897, when the first Anonymous Society of Mercury Mines of Mount Amiata came to life, and we'll go up to World War II. It's a story of visions, sacrifices, passions, encounters, and conflicts that intertwine to give life to an enterprise that changed the face of an entire community.
