Palazzo Mocenigo: what to see
Twenty rooms on the noble floor evoke the life of Venetian patricians between the 17th and 18th centuries, with ceilings frescoed in 1787 by Jacopo Guarana, Giambattista Canal and Giovanni Scajaro for a wedding in the family. The museum presents a rotating collection of original fabrics and costumes, with period garments on mannequins, and a route dedicated to the art of perfumery in Venice. The collections belong to the Centro Studi di Storia del Tessuto, del Costume e del Profumo.
