Italia Germania. Pittura e scultura tra Ottocento e Novecento. Da Canova a Kiefer

Ispirazione Europa is an international project that retraces five centuries of cultural and artistic history, focusing on the artists, ideas and relationships that helped shape the European spirit. The cycle opens on 14 November 2026 with *Italia Germania*. It will be followed by *Italia Francia* in 2027 and *Italia Spagna* in 2028. The first exhibition reconstructs two centuries of exchanges between the two countries, between the 19th and 20th centuries, with particular attention to the 20th century, when the dialogue between artists, intellectuals and architect-designers became a driving force of modernity. The exhibition is organized into chapters and shows how these encounters generated new artistic languages, reflecting the anxieties, crises and rebirths of Europe.
