Museo Luigi Manzoni
The Manzoni Museum, conceived by a group of teachers and inaugurated in 2016, is located on the first floor of the "G.B. Cerletti" Institute. It was created to pay homage to the illustrious Professor Luigi Manzoni: headmaster, researcher, and experimenter of national and international renown, who worked at the Institute for nearly fifty years (from 1912 to 1958). His commitment as headmaster is commendable. After the Second World War and the resulting devastation to the school, he led to the construction of a new wing of the Institute with laboratories and classrooms, as well as the general redevelopment of the vineyards and farm. These interventions contributed to increasing the prestige of the Oenology School, which quickly saw a significant increase in student enrollment. The museum tour leads visitors through the rich and varied collection of scientific materials, instruments, publications, and the places where Luigi Manzoni conducted his daily research.
