Fundacja Książąt Lubomirskich
Welcome to the Lubomirski Princes' Castle in Lubniewice – one of the most valuable residences in the Lubusz Voivodeship. Built between 1909–1911 at the initiative of the von Waldow family, today it is not only a historic monument, but above all the family home of the Lubomirski princes – a lineage whose history dates back to the 10th century. During your visit, you will learn about the fates of outstanding family members: military leaders, statesmen, patrons of the arts, and social activists, from Hetman Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski to Prince Regent Zdzisław Lubomirski, who proclaimed Poland's independence in 1918. The interiors hold family portraits, mementos, works of art, and objects brought from all over Europe, and each room tells a separate chapter of the family's and the country's centuries-long history. We invite you to join us on a journey through the castle chambers and discover the Lubomirski heritage – still alive today thanks to the activities of the Lubomirski Princes Foundation.
