Museo della Ceramica Manlio Trucco

The museum is housed in the workshop-home of the painter and ceramicist Manlio Trucco, one of the leading figures in the artistic revival of Albisola during the 1920s and 1930s. The building was donated by the artist to the Municipality of Albisola Superiore, so that it could be transformed into a museum to bear witness to the centuries-old history of the Albisola tradition. The visit path begins with an exhibition of twentieth-century pieces, including works by Trucco himself, and continues through to archaeological finds from the medieval period.
