Museo Sandro Massimini

Opened in 2015 at Palazzo Culla (Torre Cajetani) under the artistic direction of Giampiero Pacifico, the Sandro Massimini Museum preserves the legacy of the renowned actor, director, and collector of Italian Operetta. Massimini gathered a true archive of memory: posters, costumes, scores, photographs, and recordings spanning the Commedia dell'arte, ballet, musicals, and fashion. Among the most valuable pieces are 17th-century toy theaters and handcrafted marionettes. The museum aims to present this heritage authentically, engage young audiences, and trace the evolution of the genre. Not just a showcase, but a living place where culture is passed on, reinvented, and returns to the stage every day.
